E.A.S.R. Council of Carpenters

Do you enjoy working with your hands?  Are you interested in working with others to achieve success both on and off the job site? If so, the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters wants you!

Joining one of the nation’s largest construction trades unions will prepare you with the skills and training for a life-long career in the construction industry. When you join the union, you become part of an organization that’s committed to a fair day’s pay, safe working conditions, a secure retirement with dignity, and creating an inclusive work site for all workers. We believe in developing the total professional: tradespeople who are not only technical experts in their craft but who also demonstrate effective communication and leadership qualities.

Being a Carpenter is not just a job; it’s a career in a fast-paced industry with many opportunities for success working on the biggest projects and tackling the greatest challenges.

No matter your experience level, there is a place for you in the union. If you have no or less than 7 years of carpentry experience you will join the union as an apprentice. If you have 7 or more years of carpentry you will undergo an evaluation process that will determine the comparable skill level. Additional training may be necessary.
